A new paver patio with a soft, curved edge

We replaced a small, worn brick patio and an unused patch of lawn with a large paver patio that wraps the back of the home, finished with a curved charcoal border and paver steps at the French doors.

The work included layout and paint marking, removal of the old patio, excavation, a compacted gravel base, a screeded bedding layer, large-format gray blend pavers in a random pattern, a charcoal soldier border with a rounded corner, paver steps with charcoal caps, new topsoil along the edges and a full clean.

Completed in Duvall, WA, this project adds to Acosta Landstone's portfolio in King County. We provide paver patio installation in Duvall and across the Eastside, Snohomish, King and Pierce Counties.

From lawn and old brick to a modern patio.

How this Duvall backyard went from lawn and a worn brick patio to a large paver patio with a curved border, step by step.

01

Before: lawn and old brick

A patchy lawn and a small, weathered brick patio by the house. We marked a larger layout with a curve that follows the yard.

02

Process: base & pavers

We excavated, compacted a solid gravel base, screeded the bedding and laid large gray pavers with a charcoal border.

03

After: clean and connected

A wide gray paver patio with a curved charcoal border and paver steps at the French doors, cleaned and ready to enjoy.
