This Bothell home had a long, narrow side yard between the house and a tall concrete retaining wall: bare dirt, an old concrete strip and a slope up to the backyard. We turned it into a gray paver walkway and patio with block steps that climb to a new landing and connect the whole side of the home to the backyard.
The work included site preparation, excavation and grading, landscape fabric and drainage, a compacted gravel base, segmental block steps filled with gravel, gray blend pavers in a random pattern, a charcoal soldier border along the walls, steps with charcoal caps, a channel drain along the sliding doors, a river rock bed around the AC units, polymeric sand and a final clean.
Completed in Bothell, WA, this project adds to Acosta Landstone's portfolio in King & Snohomish Counties. We provide paver walkway and patio installation and landscaping and hardscaping in Bothell and across the Eastside, Snohomish, King and Pierce Counties.

How this Bothell side yard went from bare dirt and an old concrete strip to a paver walkway, patio and steps, step by step.

We excavated, added fabric and drainage, compacted the base, built gravel-filled block steps and laid every paver to the border.
