Before: a patchy lawn
Uneven, overgrown grass and shrubs that needed mowing and watering and never looked clean.

The front yard of this Kirkland home was covered in patchy, overgrown grass that needed constant mowing and watering and never looked even. The homeowners wanted a green front yard that stays clean all year with almost no maintenance, so we replaced the lawn with artificial turf.
We brought in a compact track loader to remove the old grass, overgrown shrubs and soil, excavated the area and graded it. Along the driveway and the house we built low concrete block borders with dark caps to frame the turf and the planting bed, then installed and compacted a smooth base so the turf sits flat and drains well.
The synthetic grass was rolled out in full pieces, seamed, trimmed tight against every border and secured, leaving a soft, uniform green surface that looks finished from the street and from the front door.
Completed in Kirkland, WA, this project adds to Acosta Landstone's portfolio in King County. We provide artificial turf installation, new lawn installation and hardscape & landscape design across the Eastside, Snohomish, King and Pierce Counties.
